mirror palace

A psychological horror level built in UE5 with Ubisoft Toronto assets, blends 2D planning and 3D execution. It introduces Blueprint-driven mechanics including color-coded mirrors (attack, puzzles, narrative) and dynamic maze transformations. Designed for Ubisoft Toronto Next, this project secured a Top 10 spot by merging innovative gameplay with haunting identity duality themes.

Innovative Mechanics

Mirror Palace repurposes Ubisoft assets and UE5 Blueprints to innovate: Red Mirrors weaponize reflections, Green/Pink blend exploration/narrative, and Purple Mirrors reshape mazes dynamically, earning a Top 10 spot in Ubisoft Toronto NEXT through adaptive design.

Roguelite Card Game

Xian is a Chinese Xianxia-themed roguelite deckbuilder where players cultivate power through strategic card battles. As Lead Artist, I established the game's distinctive  aesthetic, creating scenes and icons while developing modular assets that improved production efficiency by 40%. The develop team attended the 2025 Level Up Expo.

Zombie Zipline Chaos: A Dark Comedy FPS in Far Cry 5 Arcade Editor

About the Level

This solo-built FPS level blends slapstick humor and horror, set in Zombie Haven Summer Camp. Designed entirely in Far Cry 5’s Arcade Editor, it features zipline traversal, explosive jet-ski battles, and dynamic enemy balancing—all crafted from initial bubble diagrams to final implementation. Playtest-driven tweaks ensure frantic, laughter-laced survival against undead hordes.

About the Level

"Rise of the Gloobles" is a symmetrical TPS multiplayer level set on the alien planet Gloob, blending industrial and agricultural aesthetics. Built with free assets (barrels, pipes, rockets), the map features mirrored layouts for balanced combat, vertical layers for strategic play, and focal points like a central rocket guiding player objectives. Iterative diagrams and metrics ensured optimized sightlines and movement, merging narrative-driven environments with competitive gameplay.
